Whether you are a volunteer searching for ways to help, or an organiser in need of some help from your local community, ‘elpout is designed with you in mind. We connect volunteers to those in need of their help, whether they be individuals, charities or organisations alike.

‘elpout was founded in 2015 by three enthusiastic volunteers, frustrated by the overcomplicated nature of volunteering in their local area.

Every time we looked for a volunteering opportunity, we found ourselves asking questions such as “Where should I look for opportunities?”, “How can I apply?”,“Why do you need to know all this information about me?”, and “What about if I want to do it with my friends?” over and over again.

No opportunity is too big or too small, no hours volunteered too long or too short, ‘elpout will ensure the right people are able to view the opportunities that match their skills and preferred causes. Once the opportunity is filled up, the organiser can contact the volunteers and send them further details, the event occurs, the organiser gets feedback and the job gets done – it’s that simple! You can nominate and share each opportunity with your friends and, best of all, you will gain recognition for your efforts and see your ‘elpful level rise!
